【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspolyphthalamidematerialssuitableforinjectionmolding.1.2Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.OtherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplicationsaretobespecifiedbyusingsuffixesasgiveninSection5.SeeGuideD5740.1.3Thisspecificationallowsfortheuseofrecycledmaterialsprovidedthatallspecificationrequirementsaremet.1.4Thisspecificationisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticsmaterialsusedinthefabricationofenditemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectioncanbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldonlyaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard(seeIEEE/ASTMSI-10).Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section12,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninNote6.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisspecification.
