【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaheliumtestmethodfordetectingandlocalizinggasleaksintheexhaustsystemsofroadvehiclesequippedwithaninternalcombustionengine,inordertoimprovethequalityofexhaustgasmeasurements.Indoingso,itcompletestherequirementsofISO3929,applicableregulationsand,dependingontheleakratetobedetected,ISO13556.Themethodisparticularlyapplicableforuseinautomotiveworkshops,byend-of-lineofautomotiveandexhaustpartsmanufacturers,inlaboratoriespriortoexhaustemissiontests,andintestinganddiagnosisstations.
