【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversestablishesrequirementsforcoextrudedcrosslinkedpolyethylenemulti-layerpressuretubingwithacontinuouslyweldedaluminumtubeconstructionbetweeninnerandouterlayersofplastic.Theinnerandoutercrosslinkedpolyethylenelayersarebondedtothealuminumbyameltadhesive.Thetubingisoutsidediametercontrolledandmadeinonestandarddimensionratio,SDR9andisintendedtobeusedforhotandcoldwaterconveyanceinapplicationsupto180F(82.2C).Includedinthisspecificationisasystemofnomenclatureforcrosslinkedpolyethylene-aluminum-crosslinkedpolyethylene(PEX-AL-PEX)tubes,andtherequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensionsofcomponentlayersandthefinishedtubing,layeradhesiontest,weldstrength,short-termburstpressure,long-termsustainedpressureandmarkingrequirements.Thetubingcoveredbythisspecificationisintendedforuseinpotablewaterdistributionsystemsforresidentialandcommercialapplications,waterservice,hydronicradiantheating(HRH),radiantpanelheating,baseboard,andsnowmeltsystems.Thisspecificationcoversonlyplastic-metal-plasticmulti-layertubesincorporatingacontinuousweldedaluminumtube.Tubingconsistingofmetalliclayersnotweldedtogetherisoutsidethescopeofthisspecification.UnitsThevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Specificationsforconnectorsforusewithpipemeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaregivenin.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspri
